NaHSO₃
Liquid Solution
Sodium Bisulfite
Sodium Bisulfite (NaHSO₃) is a strong inorganic reducing agent supplied in aqueous solution. It is used for free-chlorine removal, dissolved-oxygen reduction and oxidation control in water treatment and industrial processes. Its liquid form feeds directly into automated dosing systems, enabling continuous controlled dosing without dissolution equipment. Food-grade solutions may be used as antioxidants and preservatives within applicable regulations and limits.

WORKING MECHANISM
How it works
in your process.
Bisulfite ions in solution reduce free chlorine, hypochlorite and other oxidizing species, helping protect process equipment from oxidative effects. In water treatment it is preferred for free-chlorine protection of polyamide membranes; suitable food-grade solutions support oxidation control and product stability.
